ABOUT THE ARTIST

Joanna has been doing art and painting since childhood, winning art prizes even then. She worked as an artist doing troupe l’oil, mural work and decorative walls and furniture finishes.

She has been doing watercolors, and some oils for many years but has recently explored many art affiliations to show, and she has won several 2nd prizes, Honorable Mentions, Best in Show and Awards of Merit in the last 8 years. She has sold several paintings and has been commissioned to do many more. She uses strong color copiously and paints both landscapes, buildings and portraits.

Painting, for her, is a meditation in joy.
