ABOUT THE ARTIST

Ande is a Massachusetts based artist living and working in Natick. She primarily paints in acrylic on paper and she likes to experiment in mixed media collage when the mood strikes. She is inspired by new England’s ever-changing farm fields, salty Rhode Island beaches, floral bouquets and quiet neighborhoods under starry night skies.  

She has a BA from Colby College where she double majored in Studio Art and Art History. She also has a degree in Pastry Arts from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. She has taught art and yoga and worked as a professional cake decorator. As someone who has worn many hats, she finds excitement and challenge in exploring different subject matters in her work. 

She hopes her art inspires you to examine more closely your inner and outer world, to seek beauty everywhere and to find your curiosity along the way.
