ABOUT THE ARTIST
Carolyn M Williams is a long-time Natick resident who has been part of the artists’ association, in its different configurations, from the beginning. Working in oils or gouache, her abstracts may begin with one of her landscape photos or perhaps by holding a favorite rock or from an emotion or the experience of a particular light. She is especially interested in color as it creates a journey through a painting.
You will find Carolyn in her studio in the historic Winchell building on Washington St, taking a walk thru town or on the rail trail, looking for that perfect piece of dark chocolate, tending to Coolidge Hill, weeding the garden, having fun with a grandchild, or picking up trash on her way home from a workout.
Other interests include LBGTQIA justice, racial equity, caring for the planet, and most especially, her grandchildren (just ask her!)
