ABOUT THE ARTIST

Aimee Dalrymple is an artist living and working in Natick, Massachusetts. Her art is inspired by the outer environment of nature and the inner landscape of emotions, how they reflect and influence each other. Monotype printmaking is her favorite medium because each print is a unique experience that cannot be exactly replicated. Aimee often uses botanical elements that release their natural pigments and organic tracery onto the paper when they go through the press. She then builds on that spontaneous creative experience with collage and acrylic painting, often connecting with an inner emotional experience---a memory, a dream, an epiphany.
